Like many companies, E-Commerce Solutions by Canucks Inc (ESC) knew about hackers but had never experienced an attack first hand.. That all changed when John MacDonald, the President/CEO of ESC realized that someone had hacked into his site, literally shutting it down.
John’s immediate challenge was getting his website, an integral part of his e-Commerce business up and running just as it was pre-hack.

The end result? Hackers zero. ESC one.
And what’s next for John? For one, he’s talking to his customers about using Stage2Data, reminding them that the free data backup many are using will not give them the restore functions he was glad to have after his data loss. John’s also looking into backing up the laptop where he keeps all of his financial data. He’s had a brush with serious data loss and he wants to ensure that his whole company is safe, secure and easy to back up in the case of another hacker or loss.
